Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images Plus: Texas softball faces Kansas Former Texas Longhorns star Colt McCoy recently joined the Paul Finebaum Show to talk about SEC, as well as Texas and Oklahoma’s upcoming move to join the conference. But how did McCoy feel a few years back, when Texas initially announced the move? “I think I was happy, surprised. Kind of took a little bit of time to process. But I think just the decision makers and folks at UT and Oklahoma were looking at the state of college football in general and kind of felt like that was the best move for our universities. I think they had the right foresight,” McCoy told Finebaum, according to Inside Texas. More importantly, McCoy noted how he “can’t wait to watch.” WHAT THEY’RE SAYING ABOUT THE LONGHORNS Austin American-Statesman: What key questions could be answered in Texas football’s spring game? Eater Austin has new update
15 hours ago Nepal Comfort Food Grows From a Farmers Market Stand Into an Austin Food Truck
This family run business is all about Himalayan-flavored foods Sherpa Snacks has been at the Texas Farmer’s Market at Mueller since 2021 — starting during the pandemic. This family-owned business Nepali comfort foods made with Himalayan spices like pork belly, grilled chicken, and vegetarian and chicken momo (dumplings) along with sauces, including co-owner Renu Mama’s Sherpa black sauce and Sherpa chili oil. The family splits cooking duties, with Sajja Dijju stepping into the role of “momo queen,” and Pukar Bhai working as the grill master, while Suresh Baba, who has owned several restaurants, pinch hits where needed. They tell Eater Austin that the demand for their goods finally got so high that they decided to expand past the farmers market and into a food truck. The plus side for their customers is that the food truck is open seven days a week and features the same items that were on sale at the farmers market. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sherpa Snacks (@sherpasnacks) Find the Sherpa Snacks food truck at 120 N Loop Blvd. The family will still be at the Texas Farmers Market at Mueller on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at the Texas Farmer’s Market at Lakeline on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. They are also now accepting orders on Door Dash.

Title: Extremely Disappointed with WindowTent's Lack of Professionalism and Customer Service I recently reached out to WindowTent for a quote, but my experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. When I called, the person who answered simply said, "What's up?" without any semblance of professionalism or willingness to assist. Despite this, I decided to visit the store as advised, only to find it closed despite arriving two hours before the stated closing time. The lack of communication regarding their closure was frustrating, to say the least. Upon returning the following week, I encountered further issues with their inconsistent business hours. It seemed as though they operated on a whim, with little regard for their customers' time or convenience. Even after scheduling an appointment and making arrangements to be there on time, I arrived to find out that the person I had scheduled with wasn't even present. The lack of accountability and consideration for customers' time is unacceptable. Despite expressing my frustration, I was met with excuses and attempts to shift the blame onto me. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customers is deeply disa
