Veterans Memorial Poker Run 2022 presented by Hillsboro Post No. 6, The American Legion. All vehicles are welcome to participate.
Event Details
On Saturday May 28, 2022, The Veterans Memorial Poker Run returns to Washington County presented by Hillsboro Post No. 6, The American Legion. All vehicles are welcome to participate.
This is a self-guided route through Hillsboro city limits and back country roads to historic veteran memorials in Washington County, OR. The event begins at the Veterans Gateway and ends at Hillsboro Post No. 6 in Hillsboro, OR. Poker card stops along the way to draw cards will be designated with written directions and in GPS format.
Registration:
Price - $20 per hand. Pre -register online or
Day of event registration $20 (CASH ONLY)
Preregistration is preferred and you are strongly encouraged to do so to secure your space. Participants must be 18 years or older.
Day of Event:
9:00 am – 11:00am Registration and start time at the Veteran Gateway NE Veterans Drive, Hillsboro, OR 97124
12:00pm – 3:00pm Food, Music and Fun available at Hillsboro Post No. 6
2:00 pm Site locations close
2:30pm All participants must turn in their passports with cards indicating their best hand.
3:00 pm Prize and Awards will be announced at Hillsboro Post No. 6, 285 W Main St, Hillsboro, OR 97123
Prizes:
50/50 and other prizes. Best High Hand wins. Participants will receive one random card per hand per site. Participants must turn in their passports with cards indicating their best hand.
Poker Play:
• Upon arriving at Sites 1 thru 7, a volunteer will punch the player's card, then lay out a deck of cards face down and allow the player to select 1 card for each site. Once the player has drawn their cards and determined the 5 cards they wish to play, the volunteer will write down their 5 cards on their completed scorecard and initial.
• When a participant is ready to turn in their completed card, the participant and volunteer may take a photo of their card as a copy, and then the volunteer will collect the scorecard, verifying it has all of the required punches.
• Completed cards can be turned in at Hillsboro Post No. 6 until 2:30pm

In consideration and acceptance of the right to participate in the Veterans Memorial Poker Run 2022 activities, participants, and their guests, by attending, release and discharge the Veterans Memorial Poker Run 2022 / Hillsboro Post No. 6, The American Legion and their Officers, Agents, Partners, Directors, Employees, Volunteers and anyone else connected with the management or presentation of any aspect of the Veterans Memorial Poker Run 2022 of any and all damages, injuries, losses, judgments, and or claims, from any cause whatsoever that may be suffered by any person or property. Further, each participant expressly agrees to indemnify all the foregoing entities, firms, person, and body of and from any and all liability occasioned or resulting from the conduct of participants or visitors taking part in the event. Photographing, filming, recording, and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring at this event. By participating in this event, you irrevocably grant permission to Hillsboro Post No. 6, The American Legion, Department of Oregon, and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
I have carefully read this Release and Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement (the “Agreement”) and fully understand its contents. By virtue of this registration and in consideration of acceptance of this entry and the right to participate in the Veterans Memorial Poker Run 2022 I hereby unconditionally agree to the Agreement.
